SamVert is a musician with a background in architecture. In his words, "A boy and his wooden guitar. A boy alone on stage. And now a man isolated in space. The derivation of myself has evolved through different forms of music." To encapsulate this ethos I was hired to craft an identity that draws upon themes drawing from his childhood roots as a "boy on stage" to his current state as a man "isolated in space". To accomplish this we played upon the modularity of geometric shapes as frames for a more unrestrained photographic direction as well as a bespoke geometric wordmark that evolves and changes shape to reflect his growth and connection between the boy he was and the man he is today.
